Snowboarding fun with a side of whiplash

This last weekend my sweetie and I took a couple days to celebrate our *late* Valentine’s Day (a.k.a. Lover’s Day ❤ ). I work in a restaurant so we always celebrate on our own time and this weekend was so much fun!! 

I have only been snowboarding once, when I was 15, and there just happened to be a blizzard of a snowstorm the day we went so I never count it really. I fell off the lift that day – *clutz for real* – It was a bit rainy Monday, but other than that the conditions were perfect! I did much better than I had planned on doing and we had a really great time even though I woke up the next morning and couldn’t move my neck.

We also had Spanish coffees…maybe more than once 😉

And like I said, I did much better staying up and surfing the snow than I had expected which included me going pretty fast for quite a long time more than once. It was awesome! One of those times I face planted pretty hard, knocked the wind out of me, but I got up and kept on keepin on. I’m pretty sure that caused the whiplash.

 On that note I decided it was best to take a few days off from the gym and get a massage. Life is good, right?
